How much does it cost to list my vacation property rental on YourLatitude.com?
Standard rate is $139USD for a 1 year listing. This includes up to 16 photos,
200MB of video upload, slideshow capabilities, availability calendar,
customizable inquiries table, unlimited special offer listings, unlimited
additional details, personalized business cards and much more! Discounts are
available for customers with bulk properties to list such as property managers.

What is your refund policy?
If you do not receive at least 1 booking from YourLatitude.com after
your advertising term is complete we will gladly offer a 6 month free extension
to your listing to help provide you with an opportunity to generate more income
on your vacation rental. We will do our best to ensure you are a happy customer
and are will to continue to list with YourLatitude.com.
How fast can I have my listing on the web?
Lightning fast! (Well almost) As soon as your credit card or other payment has
been process your pages will be live. Pictures will need to be verified to keep
the integrity of the site. We will verify pictures daily and have them loaded
very soon after your listing is active.
How long does it take to make a listing?
This is one of the many great things about Your Latitude. Due to our thorough
database your can create a quick add within minutes and have it on the web. But
if you want to add a great deal of detail our database allows you to do this. While
this might take longer to do but it could be worth it to you. Keep in mind you
can create a quick listing and make changes at any time. The owner’s page allows
you to come in when you want and make any changes to your listing. A quick
listing should only take 15 minutes. The more detail you wish to add the time
will increase.
How do I enter or change any/all the details of my listing?
You can edit your listing at any time and as often as you wish. Changes made are reflected "real time" meaning that
when you save your changes they are immediately shown on your public listing. Here's how you can edit your listing:
1. Log into www.YourLatitude.com with your email address and password
2. This will take you to the OWNERS section (tab).
3. From the grid select the property in which you wish to edit by clicking the "select" link to the left of the property number
4. Once the desired property is selected, click the EDIT LISTING button. This will take you to the "Owners Tabs" whereby you can edit all your property information including amenities, location, contact, photos, video, etc…
5. You can choose to click the NEXT and PREV buttons in the Owners tabs to enter your information (it will save your work for each page) OR navigate to a particular tab you want just by clicking on that Tab itself. Make sure you click the SAVE button first to ensure you save your work.
I have a property listed with you. How can I protect myself from potential fraud?
Always have a lease or legal agreement and insist on exact payment. One scam is the “Overpayment Scam”.
This is where a potential renter sends you an inquiry and ask good questions, seems excited and makes you feel like you will rent your property. Normally they are on a overseas trip where a third party is paying for them in full. He will send you more than your rental fees and ask you wire back the difference. The check that he will send is fake (the bank takes several weeks to catch it) and by then you have sent the difference back and will be unable to recover it. We suggest you insist on exact payment. If you do accept over payment do not send money back until the check has cleared your bank and you are sure it is not fraud. This could be up to 30-40 days.

I've entered all the details about my listing, but it doesn't show up anywhere on the site. Why
is this?
We need to know where your property is located in order to display it correctly within our
navigation system. Even though you typed in the physical address of your property,
your property will not show up on the site if you omit to select a location from our
location tree. The location tree is the "central heart" of our location navigation within the site.
You can access the location tree by clicking the Edit Listing button from
your main owners page (click on the link that says Your Listings on the main menu to access
this page). Using the location tree is easy. Just drill down to your specific location by click
the little plus sign (+) next to the locations on the tree. The plus sign will expand the tree
for you to see more locations under the one you expanded. Once you identify the location
you wish to select, simply click on it. Make sure you click the SAVE button at the bottom to
save your selection.
Some websites have a special rates tab for me to list special rates for my
property do you have this feature?
Of course we do. We have built this site to fit your needs. Just plug in the
dates for your special rates and it will show up on your pages and on the
special rates pages for the designated location. Thousands of people a day who
are looking for a deal will see your ad.
Great you have special ads but it cost more, right?
No. Unlike other sites we feel once you are a client you deserve all the
features we have to offer. We are not going to nickel and dime you every time
you need a feature to help promote you vacation rental. This is why Your
Latitude is the premier site to list your vacation rental business.
What if I don’t want to fill out a section within your database. Does it show up
on the web as a blank section?
No. This is another wonderful feature of Your Latitude. Make your pages with as
little or much detail as your need. If you don’t fill out a section, such as
activities on a property, this section will not show up on the live page. So
everyone’s pages will be different. Make your website as specific as your
property.
How can potential renters find my property rental on your site?
There are many ways for your listing to be "found". Here are a few:
1. By navigating to your listing via clicking on the maps.
2. By typing in the specific location of your property (or your specific property number if known) in the quick search box on the home page
3. By typing in your direct link which will provided for you
4. By clicking on your listing via the Featured Listings section on the home page
Also you will be able to print, from your own printer, business cards
with your property information on it. This feature will be an excellent tool for
you to use to help you rent your property.
Tell me more about printing my own business cards from Your Latitude.
This is another great feature for your vacation rental business. The title of
your listing and your contact information including the property number will be
transferred to a pre-made business cards. These business cards will have 3
across and 5 down a typical page. You can purchase pre-cut business card paper
at an office supply store and have them ready in minutes. Just print them off,
using your own printer, in either color or black and white. This feature will be
located in your owner’s page after you sign in. What a great feature for you to
have for your vacation rental business.
How can I get my listing on the featured listings? Do I need to pay more?
No. This is another great thing about Your Latitude all our listings have been
coded to rotate to our feature properties listings. Do don’t have to do anything
but be a customer of Your Latitude to be treated as a MVP. Other sites charge
you more or keep the listing there for months at a time. How is this fair to
you? It’s not. At Your Latitude we promise to treat you just like everyone else.
That is we promise to treat you like an MVP.
What if I want to take my listing "off-line" for awhile so it's not viewable
The status of your listing can be changed at any time by clicking the CHANGE STATUS link on the owner homepage.
If your listing status is "NON-VIEWABLE" then your listing will NOT appear in the search or on the site. If your
status is set to "VIEWABLE" then it will be visible and accessible.
Do I have to pay more for more than 12 pictures?
No. We believe pictures will help you sell your property and so we offer up to
16 pictures with no hidden or additional cost. Not only that but we have
purchased top of the line software for you to create a slide show of your
property using these pictures. Now you can show your full property off not just
4-6 pictures worth.
I see there is a video feature. What is this?
Well why not show your property off like never before. You will be able to
download a video from your own computer to your website on Your Latitude. Make
your own commercial, video the house and describe what can’t be described in
pictures alone, download a vacation you had there before, a renter’s vacation, a
local activity, or anything else to describe your property. We will check the
videos to ensure the content is acceptable. A picture can say a thousand words
but a video can tell even more.
Is there a limit to the amount of video I can upload?
Yes. We currently have the limit set at 200 MB of video. This is a lot of video
for your rental. But keep in mind the resolution use video in can dramatically
alter the amount of time you have to tape. Use a lower resolution to ensure you
do not go over the amount you can upload. We cannot change this for any
customer. A customer used a high resolution camera and filmed for 4:07 and had
275 mg of video which was over the amount. If they would have started with the
lower resolution this would have been upload successfully. So be aware of this.
How long does it take to upload a video of 200MB?
Depending on your connection it could take a while. It could even take up to a
couple of hours. This is why we placed this at the end of the information we
gather. We recommend you do this last and just let it sit. We have upload
software that tells you exactly how far you are in the process if you don’t
change the page. This way you know what is going on at all times.
What if I don’t want to download a video or I don’t have one. Will it be blank
on the page?
No. Just like anything else within our database it will be dynamic in nature. If
you don’t use the video feature nothing will show on your pages. Once again all
these features are there for you to use if you wish. Otherwise leave them blank.
Your Latitude is the most thorough site to list your vacation rental.
On other websites it is hard to be listed on the top of the page in my
geographic location. How can I get listed on top of my geographic location? Do I
need to pay more?
Once again it’s No to paying more. We have coded the entire site so all
properties rotate to the top of the listings. You will be treated fair and equal
whether your property 1 or 1000. This is why your Latitude is the place to list
your property.
What do I do if I forgot my username or password?
No problem. Assuming you are a registered user, simply click on the HOME tab. Look for the links under that tab that will send you your user name or password
to the email address we have on file. As long as you have a registered email
address with us we can send you username/password immediately 24/7 365 days a
year via our database.
Can I add a link to my page?
At this time we are discouraging links to your personal website for a few reasons.
When a renter clicks on your link we have lost them and you will never know how valuable Your Latitude is to your vacation
rental business. Furthermore, personal links encourage webbots, spiders, and other hacking systems to crawl your site.
This can lead to unwanted spam, slowness of your site and in some cases viruses to your site.
With that, we want to show you that our focus is still on our customers, so you can
add text for personal links in your listing but it will not be a clickable at this time.
I deleted or my computer deleted an email from a potential customer. Do you have
a backup?
Absolutely! This is another great feature of the website and will be very
helpful to you the owner/manager. Once you sign in click ‘view my emails” and
you will see all your emails from potential clients. They will be ranked by date
and you can open or close each email.
Can I change my owner information/email or contact information?
Sure. Sign in and change whatever you need to from the owners tab. Save the
information and the listing will be updated immediately. The owner’ back pages,
where all your details are kept, can’t be beat by another website. Make changes
at anytime.
I see you have an availability calendar. Do I have to use this?
No you don’t’ have to use it but we highly recommend it. You can click on the do
not activate the availability calendar tab and it will not display on your
pages. Keep in mind people are looking for a particular property at a particular
time/date. The availability calendar is a great tool offered by Your Latitude
and you should take advantage of it.
What happens once either my TRIAL is up or my paid subscription is expired for my listing?
You will still be able to log into your account, modify your listing, add photos, etc....and your listing WILL
remain "visible" on our site. However, your contact phone number will be hidden and all inquiry requests will
remain anonymous until you renew your listing.
Okay, so I want to renew my listing. How do I go about doing that?
When you sign into the site and click on the expired property from the OWNERS tab, you will see a red notice
indicating that this listing has expired. Next to that notice is a RENEW THIS LISTING hyperlink. If you click
this hyperlink you will be automatically directed to the renewal process and all your personal information
and your listing information will be retained and extended for 1 full year upon successful payment during this process. Please note we do NOT store credit card information
so you will need to re-enter this information for renewals.
